Mission Statement & Objectives of UK Agility (UKA) - To provide agility dog competitions that are designed with all competitors in mind; enabling all dogs to achieve a level of success, while promoting high standards in competing, training and judging of agility dogs. UK Agility (UKA) was developed to promote the growth of agility with the thought of safety and fun for every dog. In addition, UKA encourages the advancement in training using reward based training methods. This not only helps to foster a better pet and handler connection, but also supports the atmosphere of a relaxed and friendly environment for dogs, family and spectators. |

DOG GAMES BEGINNERS'
STEEPLECHASE CHALLENGE
This Challenge is designed to reward and encourage Beginner handlers and their dogs, and will be held over 7 heats across the country in 2009. It is open to dogs eligible for Beginner's Class at the time of the heat. Subsequent progression does not preclude participation in the Final.
The top 3 from each height (not previously qualified for 2009 Final) will qualify for "The www.dog-games.co.uk Beginner's Steeplechase Challenge" Final, to be held at the UKA Staverton August Bank Holiday Show 2009 at the Dowty's Sports & Social Club, Cheltenham, Glos, GL2 9QB.
Places 4th to 6th will be held as Heat Reserves. Qualifying handlers must notify the organisers if they are unable to attend the Final. All qualifiers will be run under standard UKA rules.
