Alan Gardner "This is Matty's first round without being eliminated. In fact it is amazing to think that until a few months ago, Matty wouldn't even go near agility equipment! ASJ classes give dogs who can't compete over full height the opportunity to build confidence. The flowing courses give them the chance to enjoy working at shows. I would say this place has given me as big a thrill as anything I have done previously in agility with my dogs." |

Kim (who's Kennel Club name is Lyonhouse Precious) is a very special dog in British Agility - she is the first Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever ever to compete in Agility. Her owners Shirley & Les Robinson are very proud of Kim and her achievements over the years but this ASJ class was to prove to be her very last agility competition. At the venerable age of 15 she did eight of the jumps and then decided that "enough was enough" and walked out of the ring with great dignity and pride.... she is now officially retired. |
